Other preliminary information

We have several assumptions that can be counter-intuitive for some persons.

  • Blockchain shall not be a synonym of "CRYPTO" anymore. Blockchain is 14 years old and has not reached mainstream adoption and will not, because of some fundamental problems (i.e. Blockchain Trilemma, infinite growth of the register, etc.)

  • Crypto technologies other than Blockchain have recently appeared. The acronym DLT shall be used instead of Blockchain to refer to crypto. DLT stands for Distributed Ledger Technologies.

  • The most advanced DLT in terms of reaching internet mainstream users adoption is the "Tangle" technology developed by IOTA Foundation. It is currently in public & live test stage in the Shimmer Network.

  • Facebook doesn't owns the metaverse and real metaverses can exist only in crypto networks.
