Future is DLT, not Blockchain

Blockchain is 14 years old and its users are only specialists. There are reasons for that.

Blockchain has never been other thing that a fascinating innovation. Its users are only specialists, and it has not reached the adoption of mainstream internet users in daily life. The reason is that Blockchain has problems, and this is normal in any new technology. But Blockchain is 14 years old and it cannot be considered a new technology anymore.

Fortunately there are new crypto technologies other than Blockchain with renewed opportunities to be adopted by the majority of internet users. These new, non-blockchain crypto technologies are Hashgraph and Tangle networks.

Hence, the new word to refer to all these crypto architectures (i.e. Blockchain, Hashgraph and Tangle) is DLT, which stands for Distributed Ledger Technologies.
